Internet Millionaire Incubator 2 Was a Disappointment
Oct 15th, 2007 by Martin Lee
Having attended the full three days of the internet millionaire incubator 2, I have to say it was quite a disappointment. There was hardly any organisation of the overall theme (content) with each speaker talking about his own topic. A lot of time was wasted on talking about “why an internet business and the mindset” rather than on “how” to do it.
To get more of the “how”, you will have to invest in advanced packages offered by the speakers. There were even two sessions where the sole purpose was to promote the speaker’s network marketing opportunity.
I didn’t hear any speaker mention about where to find a decent keyword research tool. You can see a list under my resources page. A good one for you to use would be the free version of wordtracker. The once popular overture keyword tool is mostly disfunctional now.
Here’s what was promised to the participants in the original salesletter at the Internet Millionaire Incubator website:
“We’ve spend countless hours creating a proper curriculum and hand picked speakers to deliver only RELEVANT content.
This ensures that at the end of the day, you walk away with a structured SYSTEM that you can put to work for you immediately. Not a whole bunch of jumbled information that you need to spend extra time organizing before you even get to use it.”
I don’t need to pass my judgement here but I’m sure attendees at the event would be able to form their own conclusions of whether this was achieved.
Having said that, there were a couple of takeaways for me.
1. Adding “>>” at the submit button of the optin form. I’m told this will boost the conversion.
2. Using a multiple language plugin for my blog.
3. Meeting up with a few of my blog visitors. It was interesting to say the least.

To certain extent, agreed that the seminar was not up to expectation. Can’t help but make comparison to the Internet Mega Summit, where the organiser is a lot more professional and logistics were well taken care of. Time management was a big issue at the Internet Incubator 2 - why let the speakers continue with their sales pitch when they already used up their alloted time? When gave the speakers additional slot (Day 3) just to repeat their sales pitch - one couldn’t help it but to conclude the these speakers did not meet their sales quota!
This seminar is definitely not for someone who hope to walk out with a “system” - I am none wiser after attending the seminar, still have fragmented info that I need to figure out how to piece together. Nevertheless, must admit that this seminar and some of the speakers motivated me and gave me many good ideas. In fact, I learnt something from every speaker. My knowledge has increased and I have many ideas generated, what I need to do now is to take action and select a mentor to guide me in this internet marketing journey.
Martin, browsed through your resource section, must say they are indeed very useful. Thank you!
Hi Elsee,
thanks for your feedback. I had some further thoughts on this event and will put it up in a day or two.
