Adam Ginsberg Reviews
Oct 29th, 2007 by Martin Lee
About 2 weeks ago, I wrote a review of a presentation by Adam Ginsberg, supposedly a top eBay seller, at Internet Millionaire Incubator. Adam was a very good platform speaker who can persuade and really sell the crowd. Well, I was doing some further research about him and found a couple of ugly facts.
First of all, he had stopped selling on eBay since 2004. You can read an account of the story here (Update: Adam has commented that this article is not completely accurate).
There were also some complaints at ripoffreports on him. Interesting, one of the complaints was on a non-delivery of a product Adam was selling on another of Matt Bacak’s event.
On the other hand, there were a number of positive video testimonials on Adam Ginsberg by some of his students.
While the information is not enough to form anything conclusive about Adam Ginsberg, this is a good warning that anyone wanting to buy anything sold by speakers at seminars should do their due diligence before doing so.
Bringing along a laptop and going a quick “google” should be a required step before you invest a large sum of money in anything.

Adam has a notorious reputation for ripping people off. He’s been banned from selling on eBay and his days are numbered in the ‘how to sell on eBay’ world. He only speaks at an event once because promoters typically see many returns of his overpriced, overhyped, full of fluff courses.
Hi John,
Thank you for your comments.
Will you be able to provide more details on where you received your information from? The event that I attended in Singapore with Adam as the speaker was organised by Matt Bacak. I know for certain that Adam has also spoken at past Matt Bacak’s events before. If what you are saying is true, then Matt wouldn’t have invited him to speak again.
I think at the end of the day, everyone in life (and not just in seminars) owe it to themselves to make informed decisions about what they want to do with their money.
Few things in life (and especially on the internet) are as clear as black and white. Every guru, good or bad, will always have his or her fair share of critics. While some of these critics could be true, there are just as many that are false.
Do whatever research is necessary, and then make your own judgement call.
Adam Ginsberg has actually read my blog and I was quite impressed that he took the time to engage me in dialogue rather than confrontation.
Adam indeed was a very good platform speaker, who can persuade, but he cannot deliver what he promised. I’ve signed his course at Internet World Summit 2007 at KL Malaysia. You promised to give a live seminar on Ebay Selling, now ended up with a free one. Nevertheless, his online material was outdated.
AGREE!!!! i have also sign up for adam ginsberg !! but never deliver. all he does is asking us to send in support ticket. no phone response at all.

anyone who is also a victim. please contact me.
Well, I attended Adam’s live training in Malaysia which was sold out with 165 excited, motivated students in attendance. It seems a bit odd that someone would say Adam didn’t deliver what was promised. He spent almost 5 hours more than promised teaching about making money on eBay and Internet - the event was awesome and I highly encourage people to student Adam’s materials and attend one of his live events.
Since training I have sent many support tickets to Adam’s office - and every one has been answered so what Calvin is saying doesn’t make sense.
I attended Adam Ginsberg KL Ebay Seminar on August, he only touched the surface of Ebay Business. Adam Ginsberg spent most of the time promoting another product (webiste builder). I paid RM3888 to attend Ebay Seminar, but end up being forced to listen to another sales pitch of another product. Adam Ginsberg has no integrity.
Adam Ginsberg is a conman as describe by this Singaporean Victim
